Condescending attitude to a valid query

The sign said: "Omo Washing Powder 2kg & Omo Liquid 750ml R44.99" My assumption was that this was the price for both as there was a similar special run not too long ago. After paying and spending R1800 in my total bill, I saw that it was charged separately and I queried at information. 2 of the staff went with me to the sign and agreed that I was correct that it was R44.99 for the 2 products together. After calling, what I assume was the manager, Lexi..then said to me that this was not the case and I then asked for them to take the sign down as it was misleading. Lexi then told me, rather obnoxiously, that I was the only customer to query this and that the sign was obvious. I'm always bragging to friends about how great Plattekloof Pick 'n Pay is and that I love shopping there. I spend quite a lot of money there, but I felt so bad for just asking the question and I had checked with 2 other staff members who both agreed with me. Not happy with the tone and attitude of this Lexi person..a simple sorry or we will change the sign would have been sufficient.
