Levi's Strauss bad Quality Assessor!

Ive recently contacted Levi's Strauss Head Office in Hydepark to complain about my black pair of jeans I've bought less than 5 months ago. I returned the jeans to them because the colour washed out! I spoke one of their representative in Cape Town, by the name of Celeste, she was great help trying to get to the bottom of things. But their quality assessor from Johannesburg kept on arguing the fact that the jeans where altered, so they wont help me or assist me. But I ask myself and even Celeste, what does alteration have to do with the colour of the jeans fading out? All I want is a replacement, not even a refund. Im terribly disappointed with Levies Strauss, its the only brand of jeans I wear. And Ive recently bought another pair last week. But the way they handled my claim or complaint was despicable! From this experience Im so terrified from buying any black products from Levi's Strauss.
