Failure to replace microwave for 7 weeks

I took my faulty microwave back to Makro Cape Gate on the 21st July 2013. It was sent to Defy who after 4 weeks came back to say that the Microwave would need to be replaced. Makro then told me they can either replace the microwave or give me a credit. I bought the microwave at Makro's opening special price of R899 whereas now the Microwave retails in the store for R1299. I enquired whether I'd be able to take another microwave from Makro to the value of R1299 so as to ensure I am put in the same position as I currently am. I was told this is not possible and I could only be credited with R899. I decided to wait for a new one. I was informed that they are currently out of stock and would only receive again on the 1st of September. I enquired as to whether they could get one from another branch and was told there is no stock in the Western Cape. It's now the 3rd of September and I still have no microwave. I was told there was a problem with the delivery and no stock was delivered. I was told today the buyer can't get hold of Defy (really?) but they would get a unit from another branch delivered by Friday. Being given the runaround!
