Terrible Service and Feedback on returned item

I ordered an item from homechoice and it was delivered within a matter of days which I was extremely impressed about. I then tried it out only to discover it was not working. I returned the item as per the instructions of homechoice. I faxed the proof of postage back to them and waited a few days before calling in to enquire on the status of my postage refund. I was informed by the agent that the fax had not been recieved. I then refaxed and emailed it through the the agents supervisor. I have now called in and once again been informed that it is not captured on the system. I have tracked the item and according to the post office, the item was recieved by homechoice 4 days ago! Is this the kind of service I am to expect? I would like somebody to resolve this and refund my postage and respond in an efficient manner to my query. It is not alot to expect.. or is it?
