Terrible service incompetent staff telling

I went to Game Canal Walk at about 18:00 on Saturday 31/08/2013 to purchase a fridge for my mother. While browsing in the store was assisted by one of the sales lady's. She showed me some products and I enquired one on fridge on display priced at R2499. When I informed her that Hi Fi Corporation has the same product for R600 less she said she will call them to confirm. Even though I had the add with me it was not good enough. She then came back to me with a story that all Hi Fi Corporation stores were closed and they cannot beat the price. I then asked her to call the Cape Gate branch and she said that they are also closed. I left the store and went home without a fridge. At 18:30 I checked Hi Fi Corporation Cape Gates operating hours only to find out that they are in fact open and do have stock available. The fridge cost R600 less as well as the extended warranty costs R150 less than games. I spoke to Rene who told me to come back to the store to pay for the fridge and they will deliver on Monday. Well when I got there I was told that they were not willing to match the price. Game you really do not live up to your moto of beating any price and your staff are dishonest liars.
