Selling Products Not in Stock!!!

On the 20hth December 2012, I bought a fridge from Game in Rosebank. The fridge was on special at R4999 at the time. I enquired whether the fridge was available at their store in Kokstad as I would pick it up there. The Sales consultant on the floor made calls to the Game store in Kokstad as the system reflected that there were two of these particular fridges available. The sales consult ant then informed me that the fridges were still in storage or the warehouse, but would be delivered by the 27 December 2012. On the 28th December 2012, I called Games stores Kokstad and only to be told that I would get the fridge in January as the suppliers had closed for the festive season. The sales consultant further told me that he had informed his colleagues from Game Rosebank that he shouldn't sell that particular fridge as delivery could not be confirmed. I called Game Rosebank several times but no one could assist as the sales consultant was on leave. I visited Game Koksatd to see if I could possibly swap with another fridge that had on the floor. Due to their limited stock, this was not feasible. I am still with a fridge a month later and have not heard from either store.
