On 22 July I requested the Pavilion branch to order a pair of Katey grey takkies for me as they did not have my size in stock. On checking their system, a couple of branches in Cape Town reflected having stock in my size. I was advised that they would contact one or all of the branches to check whether they in fact had stock and if there was no stock available, I would be called and advised accordingly. As I did not hear from the Pavilion branch again, I assumed that a pair had been sourced. I popped into the Pavilion branch 3 weeks later to see if my takkies had arrived. Although the document was located, no-one could tell me what had happened regarding my order. The gentleman assisting me made a note in his diary and promised me that he would attend to the matter. To date I have still had no feedback and must now assume that because my order appears to have been overlooked, there is no longer stock available at any other branch. There is obviously a serious problem with the service which Cape Union Mart supposedly offer in sourcing items from other branches as there has been no follow-up whatsoever. I am most disgruntled with the service I have received.
