Black Friday special is a printing error?

Yesterday morning, I spotted a Black Friday special for a "Western Digital 3TB 3.5" Black Elements External Hard Drive" that was on sale for R1000.

I then phoned the Pavilion branch to see if they still had stock of the HDD at that price. I was told that there were still some available. I then asked my sister to drive there and buy a hard drive for me, as I was at work at the time. I then phoned the Amanzimtoti, Springfield, Gateway and Hillcrest branches to check their stock levels just in case the Pavilion ran out before my sister arrived. All of them told me that they were also doing this sale but only the Hillcrest branch had stock at this stage.

Later, my sister told me that when she arrived at the Pavilion branch, she was told that there was a printing error and there were no 3TB external HDDs being sold for that price. But if this was the case, why didn't any of the branches I phoned tell me this?
After looking at other recent complaints, I think the assistant believed that my sister was referring to a different special (the WD My Passport Ultra 2.5 2TB). Was this the case?

Either way though, I don't have a hard drive thanks to someone making a mistake.
