Faulty Light and Refusal to refund or exchange it

I purchased a lot of items from the store red apple and this included light fixtures.

One of the lights I purchased I liked a lot, so we bought a second one. Upon installation of the second light fixture, the light worked for a couple of days and then it stopped working. We reported it to the store, they then collected it and could not replace it as they no longer had stock on this item.

So we agreed that they could repair the light. The light was returned and upon fitting the light it was making a noise and still faulty. (this is not to mention the two week waiting period and the lack of correspondence from the store).

Now the light is faulty and the store refuses to refund us or take the light back. This is once again after i had to make various calls without a follow up from the store. This is unacceptable practise and goes against the consumer protection act.

This complaint will be followed up by the necessary actions.

My rights remain reserved in full.
