Unhappy with after sales service

We purchased an expensive light fitting from Eurolux, after a year the transformer stopped working. It was just out of the one year warranty. We asked to order a new transformer and were advised that they no longer sell that light fitting and therefore cannot supply us with a transformer. We complained and said that is not right, the light is only one year old and it was an expensive fitting. They said we must send the whole light fitting in, we were reluctant as it is chrome and glass and we didnt want it getting scratched or broken, but agreed as it was the only way to get the transformer. We took all the glass pieces off and wrapped each chrome piece in bubble wrap so it doesnt get scratched. Sent it in and eventually got it back. This was after a month of going back and forth, with us having no light in our kitchen during the whole time. Got the light back yesterday and fitted it, only to find that it is terribly scratched and now looks like a second hand piece of junk. We are very unhappy with Eurolux and their after sales service and will never use them again.
