Poor collection service when repairs are needed

So I bought an iron in May 2013 and contacted Cloud nine in July, as a noise occures when it is switched on. After numerous calls to them since then, my iron still hasnt been collected. Went back to Partners hair design to complain and was told that I have to just keep on contacting Cloud Nine Hair, as they only sell the product and are not responsible for anything happening afterwards. Well, the day I purchared it, I was promised by Parners hair design that if anything should happen, to contact the number they gave me and it will be collected free of charged and dropped off again. I complained via email to them about two weeks ago, and no response from them. They blame the courrier service, but shouldnt they take reponsibility and follow up if a product wasnt collected?
