Rude and useles repair man

My mother purchased a Defy oven and the top element only gets warm and not hot. It doesnt even turn orange, it just stays black/grey, from the moment it was bought. Food has to stay in the oven even longer for them to get cooked/baked and they end up hard, due to the extended baking time that is needed.
We logged a request for repairs and a repair man was sent out. He listened to the complaint, did nothing and left. When my mother called in to follow up, he reported that my mother "needs baking lessons".
we have been using Defy for over 20 years and have been happy, until we upgraded to this new oven which has brought nothing but dissatisfaction.
very dissapointed customer.
