I'm an Edgars paying customer for just under 30 years. For the last 2 weeks have I received text messages that my account is in arrear and must pay otherwise Edgars will take legal steps against me. Then this week, Edgars threaten to blacklist me. I have phoned customer care services. The first person told me to ignore it because my account is not in arrear, when I phoned again another person told me don't worry, ignore it, they send these messages to everybody, whether you are paid up or in arrears, she said just ignore it. I demanded a letter of apology and wanted to speak to a person in management. I then spoke to another person, she realised they have sent these messages to the wrong person, told me to ignore it, I refused and wanted a letter of apology. Not one of these Edgars staff members could help me to stop the messages, everybody said ignore it. Then I was transferred to a supervisor, she also could do nothing to stop messages and told me Edgars apologize to no-one!!! Needless to say, after such unprofessional treatment, I am now closing my account
