Poor call centre quality and bad customer service

About 3 to 4 months ago I called the company to pay up and close my account, I made an electronic payment and sent them a proof of payment like they requested me to do. I went to the branch (Cresta) to confirm if they did so, came across a lady who couldn't help me because the call centre people were not picking up the phone. I left my details with the lady and told her to do so when they call centre is able to help her. after sometime I decide to check my TransUnion credit check and to my shock I found that I am in areas for 30 days with outstanding balance of R10. this is so annoying because I paid up my account in full. Today (20.08.2013) I call the call centre to understand what went wrong, all they do is sent me from one agent to another and still not able to assist me or even here my concern.
