Wrongly retaining customer funds

I ordered 4 textbooks from Kalahari (27 July), of which 2 was out of stock. They confrimed via email that they will refund the fees to me for the 2 books not in stock. I received a refund for 50% of the money only. On 6 Aug, the one amount was paid back into my credit card. I emailed on 13 Aug to check where the rest of the funds were upon which Gameda Fanie told me that it will be kept on my profile for future purchases with Kalahari and if I wanted the other 50% of my money back, I had to submit a long list of details to them. I enquired why 50% could be paid, but a list of details is required for the rest of my money and why the customer does not have a choice in the matter. Secondly, why does a customer need to contact them to find out where their money is? I still need to purchase the textbooks somewhereelse and am now having to beg Kalahari for my money back due to stock they did not have!!!
It is one week later, and I have had absolutely no response back from them.

I buy from Kalahari so often and am really disappointed.
