I applied for a Tekkie Town account in October 2012 but never collected my card from the Oudtshoorn store. I told the store staff that I am not interested in an account anymore so I will not be collecting a card. In June 2013 I received a statement that a purchase was made on my account. I phoned the cust care line and they told me that the address and contact tel number differ and I schould email them a copy of my ID and they will sort it out within 21 working days.
On 29/07/2013 I received a phonecall from the manager of Tekkie Town Oudtshoorn telling me what was bought on this account and after telling her I do not care about that because I did not buy she got all upset and in a very aggressive tone she told me to email my ID again but to a different email adress - aparantly RCS and Tekkie Town are doing seperate investigations.
To date I haven't heard from either one of these departments. I would like to know how its possible that a purchase was made on this account when I instructed them not to issue a account card as I no longer wanted a account.
