In December 2011 I bought a lounge suite and TV stand at Geen & Richards, Kimberley, the sales person was a guy named Bruce. After countless calls the furniture was finally delivered in the first week of February 2012. In January 2013 I went to the branch in Kimberley to complain that the fabric was tearing. I spoke to Bruce and he promised that an agent will be sent through to the house to see the "damage" and recommend a solution. That never transpired. After several trips to the store and only empty promises, Bruce finally came to check out the extent of the damage in April 2013 and made another promise to get back to me. That never happened! Several attempts later to get a resolution from Geen & Richards, I finally escalated the complaint to customer care and was promised a speedy resolution. Today, a consultant called me to inform me that my issue cannot be resolved because my complaint was "outside the guarantee period"! That is completely false because my complaint was lodged within the prescribed time and any other delay is the direct fault of the branch that was meant to deal with my complaint. This after being a good customer who has in fact settled her account early!!!
