Makro
New Acer laptop was giving me problems

Shops, Products, Services

I bought an Acer laptop from Makro Woodmead on the 23rd of February 2013, in less then 2months after purchase my brother whom I had purchased the laptop for said that the laptop was giving him problems and since he was in Durban at the time he took it to Incredible Connection for them to advise on what the problem could be, they said the laptop has memory problems and they suggest it be taken back to the manufacturer, and that it what I did do on 1 April 2013, jus over a month after it was purchased.
On 16 April 2013 I received a quotation from Makro Woodmead saying that I must pay R820-80 to have the laptop repaired because it had a "software" problem (Case ID 7280074S), I was forced to pay this amount as my brother was desperate for a laptop to use for his university studies.
In summary I feel that Makro sold me a faulty product and I had to pay to get it fixed, and I would like to be re-imbursed the R820-80 as I feel I have been wrong done by Makro and not treated well.
