I think this is just pathetic service. I place my online order on the 5th for delivery on the 8th. This should give ample time for planning and making sure that Woolworths could satisfy my order. But they did not. I got a phone call around 2pm to inform me that they have 5 products not in stock and will not be able to deliver these later the day. I then cancelled the entire order. Why do they offer online shopping if they cannot plan and meet the demands? They had 3 days to get their demand planning sorted for my requirements. My suggestion is to not offer items on their website which will not be available or get their planning system in order. I wonder what system they are running in their back office. This kind of service is just not on! I could also not make out a word the person said when she contacted me to inform me of the stock shortages. I had to ask 5 times who is speaking and from where? Ridiculous!
