Incredible Connection
False advertising

Shops, Products, Services

Incredible Connection published a leaflet in the press, advertising a Samsung wifi Multifunction Mono Laser printer, for R999. This was one the front page of the brochure, big and bold, with a box saying that a free visit from TechExperts is included, specifically to help you set up the printer wirelessly. This was exactly what we needed, so I took time of work on Friday to buy the product at Clearwater. I was helped by a certain Yanga, who was friendly enough. Just before the checkout we (myself and the sales person) discovered that it did not have wifi. (Another staff member pointed it out). At this point the staff just shrug their shoulders, saying it was a misprint in the add, and that was it-sorry. The one on special was supposed to be the SCX-3405F, which does not have wifi, and not the otherwise identical SCX-3405FW, which has wifi. Never mind that the add clearly says wifi printer, and that it boldly says that Techexperts will help you set it up. I really think Incredible Connection should sell me what they advertised, namely a printer that looks like the one they advertised, with the functions they explicitly advertised on the front page of their brochure.
