Sock torn on first use

I recently purchased a relatively expensive pair of socks from the Country Road department at Woolworths, in Woodlands.

The socks tore at the toes after first use, on both feet. This was not due to abnormal wear.

This is not something I come to expect from one pair of socks costing R80.
