TV repaired and received back in poor condition

I recently (on 11 July) took my Sinotec 42 inch HD LCD television to Game Nelspruit after experiencing problems with the image. The TV was still under warrantee, and as such, Game staff assured me that I would have my TV back within 3 weeks - either repaired or replaced.

I was then contacted again on 30 July to go and collect my repaired TV. The TV was packaged in a TV cardboard box and bubble wrapped, and as such, I took the TV home to unwrap and check it. Although the image was now repaired to its former condition, I was very disappointed and even disgusted at the state of my TV. After buying the television in 2009, I have been taking extremely good care of it and it was still in near perfect condition. However, after my TV has been sent away it is now full of scratches and marks all around the edges and even on the back of the television. There also seems to be peeling of the plastic cover.

I would like to enquire how it is possible for this to happen, as I would assume that Game staff would be instructed to look after their customers' belongings.
