Utterly disgusted at Branch Mangers treatment!!!

On 04/11/2012 we purchased a Bouwer sandwich maker from House and Home as a Christmas present. After the first time of using the product a came out the side of the product and it fell apart. On 03/01/2012 we returned it to the shop. Eugene First told us we cant get it replaced but it would have to be repaired. After refusing repairs we were finally told we can get a new one however there is no stock at any branch (why the product was still on the shelves?). then after that we were told that there is only one available in East London and it would take 1 week to 1 1/2 weeks to arrive, they would contact us. On 18/01/13 (two weeks later) we returned to the shop to esquire why we had not got a response.
Only to be told the product has been discontinued. when questioning why he could not contact us to tell us this and where the one that we were told was available is, Eugene started getting very rude and abrupt with us and told us he was on training for two weeks. when leaving we asked another lady if he was on training she said he was gone for 1 week. still left him 1 week to contact us? does all his customers go unattended while his away? is it the policy to when being question?
