No assistance with payment and bad attitude

My CQ card did not work on either of the cc machines - its a chip card. and I requested that they swipe it and is informed that they can't do it. I then requested they do a manual transaction and yet again I was told that it will not be allow. The Manager was then called and asked the cashier if she is allowed and she replied no, where he then said sorry mam we can't. I told the manager that I am very embarrassed, where the manager replied that no worry it happened to him many times also. There was no attempt to assist me in any way. If this is the case I will never shop at a Dis-Chem again.
