We have arranged & agreed with Melony at the George branch of MyHome as well as Anna-marie, the regional accounts manager, that I may close account 01 when making payment on the 01st of June 2013. I was surprised when I made another payment on the 28th of June and when I received my statement that the account has not been closed but the amount paid to close this specific account has been re-allocated to other accounts despite having made an arrangement which was agreed upon during the last week of May. The area manager promised this will be sorted, as it's not the first time it's happening and it was sorted in the first instance, but this time to this date it has not been sorted as shown on my July statement. Clearly this deliberate act is prejudicial as MyHome has already earned a lot of interest when I was unable to make payment and this further affects my credit profile adversely. I have always been forthcoming about my circumstances and the area manager and Melony are fully aware of the circumstances that led me to default on payments. Now I have been gradually closing the accounts one by one. Isn't it what they want, or want me to pay forever? Plz sort this out urgently.
