Unreasonable response time!!

I purchased a Kookabura cricket bat last week Wednesday for R1700. The bat was sent in for knocking in and oiling and i used it for the first time on Saturday, after 2 hits, the bat cracked!!! I took the bat into Sportsmans Warehouse the same time and they said they will send it to the supplier. I called on Monday, and they promised the Kookabura rep will be in to look at it and make a decision on what to do. I keep calling and they keep telling me the rep was not in. I spoke to the rep now, and he mentioned that Sportsmans forgot to bring the bat to him yesterday. They have now sent him the pictures and he will only be look at it at the end of the day. I have a cricket league on Saturday and i need a bat asap. I still need to take the new bat in for knocking in and oiling and it takes 3 days to be prepared. The rep also mentioned that they might try and repair the bat. I paid R1700 for the bat and definately dont want it to be "repaired"!! How can such a expensive bat break after 2 hits? I want a response asap or my money back. I cant tolerate being sent back and forward. I need a bat asap. I trust that this matter will be dealt with asap. Thanks
