Woolworths
Christmas politically incorrect-Muslim Ramadam acc

Shops, Products, Services

In December I sent a letter the Woolworths Head Office asking why they were quite happy to make money out of Chritmas but did not acknowledge Christmas by wishing their Christian customers a blessed Christmas. I have not yet received a reply. Easter came and went but was only acknowledged by the merchandise that they could sell. It is now Ramadan and there are no less than five messages MUBARAK RAMADAN in our local Woolworths and more in stores in Johannesburg. When I spoke to the manager at my local Woolies he said that it was a directive from head office and that he and his Christian staff were as upset as I am. The South African constitution says that discrimination based on religion is unacceptable. I am being discriminated against by Woolworths by them acknowledging Muslim holidays but not Christian or Jewish holidays.
