Terrible Excuses!!

I was at Mr Price Home on Hendrik Potgieter to purchase 10 of the HE Script Femme cushions (45 x 45) as advertised on the Mr P website (which showed 44 in stock online). There was apparently no stock of the cushion (although the website still shows 41 in stock). We accepted that there was no stock & started to leave. On our way out, we saw a couch set selling for R7500 (Downtown Camo Corner Unit - I think - in beige). We loved it & decided to take it! The salesman came back to us to say there is no stock! We asked if any other store in Gauteng has it (we REALLY wanted this set!!) Apparently no-one in Gauteng has stock! Then we asked if we could PLEASE have the display set (seeing that no-one will be able to get a set in Gauteng - what is the point of having it on display?) We were told it against company policy & they cannot give it to us! We were then informed we can pay a 50% - 100% deposit and place an order for it! Yay!! "When will we receive it by" we asked... it could take a week, 2 weeks... a month... they don't know and can't make any promises! Really? Very poor service for people waiting cash-in-hand for either the cushions or the couches. Very disappointing!
