NO STOCK of demo model

We went to Mr Price home in Tyger Valley (Cape Town) and saw a 8 seater dining room table (on display) that we wanted to buy... only to be told they have no stock and we should place the order online.
I went home to place the online order, but couldn't even find this item on their page. At last, after I googled the table description, I came upon the range of items... all items except the table we want.
So, I phoned them the next day, and Tyger Valley mentioned that Durban branch will only receive stock mid Feb.
How can you display an item on your floor, knowing that non of the shops have stock of this item?!?!
I wasn't happy with any of the service I received, so I phoned head office in Durban. The lady at the Furniture department wasn't friendly at all, and promised to phone me back within 48 hours. It's now almost a week and I haven't heard anything. TygerValley sms'ed me last week to say we can come order the item instore, but still couldn't answer me on how they advertise items, knowing they don't have stock.
I don't think it's right to advertise or display items if you are aware of the fact that you don't have stock in store... and only receive stock in Feb. PATHETIC!!!
