Payment 10 days late - now listed as a slow paye

Edgars has a new policy - this month my payment was 10 days overdue, and I got an sms to state that I have been listed with the Credit Bureau as a slow payer. When I phoned the call centre to query this, I was told that Edgars may do this as part of the National Credit Act.
Never mind all the months that my payment has been on time.
Me thinks it is time to pay off this account.
