I bought a fridge/freezer combo from Cash Converters Northgate last year, mostly because it was a unique appliance with double fridge on top and double freezer on the bottom. I'd specifically not wanted the double-door fridge/freezer combinations as I wanted more freezer than fridge. Since these are very rare, i was very excited to find an affordable one at CC.

Unfortunately, it started giving trouble within a month. Thought to be out of gas, it was re-gassed... and worked for a month, when the same thing happened. After 2 re-gasses, it was thought to be a leak / compressor problem.

Gavin offered me a refund several times, but this didn't work from me as it was a fridge/freezer I needed. The difficulty was then finding a replacement that suited my needs. Gavin and his team were very patient with my stubborn refusal of several replacement options and maintained efforts to try all sorts of sources to get me something that would make me happy.

I'm pleased to say that they did - and that their efforts are much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them based on their dedication to customer support.
