I went in to the Woolworths in Fourways today during my lunch hour. I was just making a quick purchase as i do on a regular basis. When paying at the till, i gave the teller R200. He took this from me and put it into the till, and gave me enough change for R100. He insisted that i only paid him R100. i felt like a when they insisted that they pull the camera footage which would take two minutes before they refund me. I was then called to the phone, where the lady watching the security footage told me that she sees only R100 and nothing else.i felt like i was being accused of. I was shocked. If you cant see anything in the camera footage what is the use of having cameras in your store?! After being pushed from one manager to another, i was then informed that they could see the extra note but they cannot confirm that it was R100. i was given my R100 as if i did somethng wrong with a quick apology and no care at all. I also received a warning from my facilitator for coming late. I am appalled at the insincerity and will never shop there again! i will also be sharing this story with my friends and family! This is an experience that i will remember fourways woolworths by!!
