The story of a bicycle

I live in Jhb and my dad in George. I wanted to buy him a bicycle for his birthday as a surprise. I had seen one in a Pick 'n Pay hypermarket and called the online shopping service to see if they could deliver one for me. They confirmed that they were unable to but put me in contact with Martin, the Pick n Pay manager in George, who was a star. Even though his store is not a hypermarket, they were carrying stock of bicycles. I wasn't sure it was the correct one so he took a photo and sent it to me to confirm. Luckily it was the correct one. I explained to him that I wanted to buy the bicycle as a surprise gift for my father but wasn't sure how I would get it to him. Martin helped me buy a gift voucher, with which the bicycle was paid for and then Martin put the bike in his car and drove all the way to my dad's house to drop it off for me. That's what I call going the extra mile! Thanks to Martin for helping my dad get his gift. He loves it and is out riding every day.
