I Mrs V maistry purchased a laptop on 06/12/2009 but returned it on 24/01/2010 because my husband just lost his job, I explained to Ms Natalie Pillay, she said the product is stil in a brand new condition so it was fine however my name will be listed onto the credit buraux and I accepted because I couldn't afford to pay for it. She told me I would stil receive statements but I must ignore as she did give me back my deposit n a letter to say I returned the product. But she did not tell me that I would stil have to pay for it even after returning it. After 2 years I received a letter from an attorney who later phoned me and I told them I returned the laptop. I sent a fax to Gerard Van Der Merwe on 25/04/2012 with a note from hi finance telling them I surrendered the product. They later had a hearing at hennenman court without my knowlegde and garnished me. I am now paying r300 a month for something I don't own. When I took this letter to Natalie Pillay she told me if she knew this was going to happen she would have told me not to return it as she did not expect this to happen, I had to pay r10, 291 for the laptop but after they garnished me I have to now pay R17485, 38.
