African Hut
No concept of consumer rights or respect thereof

I will never support African Hut Curios in Whiteriver ever again. I own a very busy guesthouse in the area and I'll be advising every one of my guests to avoid the place like the plague.

They have no concept of consumer rights or any respect thereof and and have no idea how to be professional and ethical.

I purchased a R3000 Nguni hide from them. I decided 10 Minutes later to return the item for reasons I won't go into here. I was told No. I cannot have a refund, I then called the owner of the store hoping he could help but he was very rude, unhelpful and absolutely refused to refund me on the premise that he has never in 20 years had to refund anyone before. (I find that VERY hard to believe due to the inferior quality
of the goods on sale.)

The invoice had no "no refund" clause. The store had no "no refund" signs anywhere in sight.

All I wanted was a refund for a purchase I had made a few minutes prior. Surely consumers are entitled to a mind change? Clearly not at this place.

Before this I may have recommended them to others and even returned myself in future for future purchases as I'm in the area often. Now I will boycott them and advise everyone I can to do the same.
