False Advertising

I went to Cresta on Saturday 29/06/13 because i heard that NWJ was having a 50% sale on selected jewelry and watches before i could proceed into the store i had checked the window of the items that was displayed under the 50% sign that was placed behind the window. I did come across a white and gold Puma watch that was displayed behind the window that was clearly under the sign 50% off. I than continued to enter NWJ as the watch caught my attention. I did ask the sales person if i could have the watch and if it was 50% off. She advised that watch was not on special or 50% off but on the window clearly displayed under the 50% off sign, i was than told the only watches that was 50% off was the ones in the back of the shop in a corner. To me it looks like it was just a ploy for people to enter the store by False Advertising. I do understand that the sign said on selected items but why was the watch behind the window under the 50% sign and the other chains under the same sign was 50% off, if it was a mistake that the watch was there than they should have removed it from the window after i discovered but i still found at the window the next day. This False advertising and a poly.
