BAD SERVICE

Standing in line for over half an hour on sunday 30 June 2013 - only Three customers in line, their is an continous problem with scanning of an item.
The couple in front of me only bought a ride on scooter for their son, they (staff) could not find the price of the item - they especially came to the store to purchase this item. The child was crying - but nobody could be botheres to speed up the price finding process.
i wanted to purchase ice cream - they couldn't even find that particular brand on their system.
When i complained and asked for the manager - he was nowhere to be found and could not be contacted.
This poor service, is an ongoing problem in this Shoprite branch - products are frequently out of stock, point of sale operators are unfriendly, incompetant and unwilling to help customers.
On pension days there are usually only a few till operators available and a person stands in line far longer than half an hour at a time.
I am really sorry but this is unaccebtable!!!
Something should be done ASAP
