15 YEAR OLD ACCOUNT!!!

I opened an Edgars account in 1996 which was closed in 1998, I now have applied for a Jet account, iam now told that i cant have an account with the Edcon group as i have an account which was handed for debt collection to VVM agents in 1998, REALLY? 15 years later, I spoke to Lauren Jacobs at VVM who advises i must complete a dispute form, HOW DO YOU TELL ME TO COMPLETE A DISPUTE FORM FOR AN ACCOUNT 15 YEARS OLD, No communication for 15 years.. Whats does the NCA say about accounts that's this old? I will report this to the Consumer watch dog, this is illegal and Edgar's should be ashamed wanting to collect debt on a CLOSED account and on an account that's 15 years old. Come on. All i wanted was to apply for a Jet account.
