Failure to repair goods

My mom and I purchase a lounge suite for my gran. When it was delivered, the leg on one of the chairs was broken. When we reported the matter to the Manager of the store he refused to take responsibility and said we should not have accepted delivery. Even if that is the case, the goods are under warranty for 12 months thus they should be repaired or the chair should be replaced. We have reported the case on more than 3 separate occasions however the branch manager is not willing to assist. This is not the way to treat customers.
