Idiotic "no splitting of payment" policy

I am a regular customer at this branch, and they have just undergone a fab makeover. Unfortunately, the new staff were extremely unhelpful when I purchased items yesterday. I asked if I could split the payment between cash and my debit card, as it is the end of the month and I know how much I have in my account. I have done this countless times at large chain stores. She refuses. The manager Olivia Ramsunder, says it is clicks policy to not accept split payments because of? How is that? Its the most ridiculous policy I've ever heard of. I explained this is the only way for me to pay, but Olivia, instead of offering me a solution, proceeds to have a bad attitude with me. My question is this: If I paid for 2 of my items in cash, then joined the queue again and paid for the rest with my debit card, would that have been? No, that would just have been a waste of my time! Is clicks going to pay for the costs incurred on my bank account because of their ill-conceived and inconvenient "policy"? The next time I need cosmetics, I will definitley pop down to Dischem instead because they have staff and policies that make their customers lives easier, not more difficult.
