ISSUES WITH PAYMENT METHOD AND FALSE PROMISES

On 8 Feb 13 I shopped at Clicks, Gateway. @ the till to pay for my goods I took out my RSC Card to pay as RCS Cards are accepted at Clicks Stores & I have used it b4 .The cashier saw the card & called the Manager. The Manager informed me quite rudely that they no longer accept RCS Cards at Clicks. She said they used to & they had to call RSC for confirmation & then process the payment but they no longer accept RCS Cards. I did not see any signs to that effect. I was greatly embarrassed as there was a huge queue behind me & I had no choice to but pay for my purchases in the amt. of R417.99 using my credit card which is kept for emergencies. I did not get the managers name. Then on the 20 Feb 13 i contacted Clicks Cust Care Line & spoke to Dylan & explained the above issues. He checked with his supervisor & confirmed that Clicks Stores still accept RSC Cards. He lodged a complaint & informed me that they would respond within 60 hrs, I told him that should I not receive a response or even if their response is not satisfactory I would lodge a complaint with Hello Peter. I have not heard from Clicks again. Dylan did not give me a ref. no. for the call but calls were recorded.
