I purchased a pair of Reebok shoes from Tekkie Town-Woodmead for R999.99 on the 17 Dec 2011. The shoes are still in good condition but the inside heal section (net) of the shoe is starting to tear, causing an irritation on my soles. I went to Tekkie Town asking them to please take this back to the supplier and ask them if this is a defect on the shoe. I left the shoes there on Sat-15 June 2013. On Tuesday 18 June I called the branch and was told that the Regional manager had a look at the shoes and because it was past the timeframe for returns, she cannot assist me further. I called Customer care and spoke to Mopilo who again advised me that it was passed 6 months and customer care cannot do anything. I said to her that she should not be making decisions without speaking to Reebok directly. She again said that she cannot help me, but I can call them myself. I called Reebok H/O in Durban and spoke to Zhivanni, explained my issues and they said I must bring the shoes to a Reebok store. They exchanged the pair of shoes with no issues. Reebok thumbs up for good service to your loyal customers. TekkieTown still needs to learn what going the extra mile for your customers is all about!
