I APPLIED FOR FUNERAL COVER FOR MY GRAND-MOTHER IN-LAW, OF WHICH ON APPLICATION HAD HER ID NUMBER & ALL HER DETAILS. IT WAS ACTUALLY CROSS SELLING OF THE SALES LADY AS I WAS OPENING AN ACCOUNT. I TOLD HER THAT I HAD COVER FOR EVERY ONE IN THE FAMILY EXCEPT FOR HER AS MANY INSURANCES WON'T COVER HER BASED ON HER AGE. SHE ADVICED ME THAT IT IS NOT A CONCERN ON THIER SIDE, TOLD ME THE WAITING PERIOD IS 6MNTHS. OF WHICH I SIGNED UP.CALLED EARLIER THIS YR TO SEE IF ALL WAS IN ORDER & WAS TOLD THAT ALL IS IN ORDER & THAT THE POLICY WAS NO LONGER ON A WAITING PERIOD WHICH IS 6MNTHS. MY GRAND-MA INLAW PAST ON IN APRIL WENT TO PUT A CLAIM, WAS TOLD THAT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE HAD HER COVERED & THAT THE WAITING PERIOD WAS 9MNTHS FOR INLAWS. ESCALATED THE QUERY TO THE OMBUDSMAN ASWELL AS JET'S COMPLAIN DERPARTMENT OF WHICH I WAS GIVEN THE DETAILS AT JET. TO THIS DAY AM TAKEN FROM PILAR TO POST, SOME ARE TELLING ME THAT NOTHING IS DONE EVER SINCE I PLACED THE COMPLAIN. SOME ARE SAYING THAT THEY WAITING FOR HOLLARD TO GIVE FEEDBACK & IT'S NOT THEIR JET'S PROBLEM IT'S ON HOLLARD.
