Always check the prices

I always felt I was spending more on groceries than I budgeted so the last couple of months I started checking the prices as the teller swiped it through the till. You would be surprised at the mistakes that is made, but always in the shop's favor. Cheese that was on special for 2 99 goes through as 39 99. Tuna marked as 10 99 goes through as 12 99. the list goes on and when you point it out you get a look of anoyance from the tellers and the customers behind you. Yes I can afford R2 extra but how many thousands of rands go through where people don't check. Why put prices on the goods, just put up " it costs a lot" Check your merchandise before paying if you want to save money, or at least spend the amount you budgeted.
