AMERICAN SWISS HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

With regards to my previous complaint about American Swiss (refer to above link) the matter has still not been resolved!

I made contact with the area manager of American Swiss and explained the whole situation to her. She told me that I need to go back to the Gold Smith that they referred me to because he is liable for the damages and not them. He said that there are no diamonds missing BUT the plating has come off in the one area. To me it obviously looked like diamonds were missing because it was dull and had a brownish tone. He said that happens over years??!! I've only had the ring for 5months! So every 5months the ring would need be re-plated? I'm not happy with this ring and I certainly will not buy from American Swiss in future. I have informed the area manager of American Swiss of what "THEIR" Gold Smith has told me and she said she would discuss with her branch manager but it has now been over a month and I have had no feedback!!
