Purchased wii console and game on the 30/05/2013.Noticed it intermittently did not read the disk. Took it back the next day and it did the exact same thing but because the sales consultant did not have another game to test with, he said its definitely the disk. Managed to source the game some time later and still the same issue. Took it in store today and consultant tested and same issue. He tested another game and it worked. After telling him it did not work INTERMITTENTLY, he was convinced it is fine even after it DID NOT pick up the disk on the first try. Why was this not tested thoroughly in store the first time it was taken in? Why wasn't another disk used to test the console? The consultant didn't even put the batteries in the remote to go into the game to see if it reads. He was just content that the console switched on but still said he is confident it was the disk? Due to incompetence of the staff who did not have another game to test to make sure it was not the gaming console in the first place, I now have to wait up to 48 hours to have the wii picked up and another 7 working days to have it "repaired" because they will not exchange even though returned the very next day
