Bad attitude

On Friday 07 June 2013 at around 7:30pm my daughter and I were desperate and we went to the counter where the cakes are sold at the Bergbron super spar. I needed 2 cake boxes and was fully aware that this is not for sale in the store. i was so desperate and was fully prepared to pay whatever the cost was and more for the cake boxes. The lady at the counter was more than willing to help me and said that they do have but had to get permission from the store manager - Anton, When Anton came i told him my dilemma and begged him to sell me 2 cake boxes and was prepared to pay over and above what it cost. His answer was NO, he cannot as they only have 2 left in their store and was saving it as he doesnt know when stock will come. I knew that was a lie. He had a stink attitude with me and didnt even try to assist me further. I am a patron for 10 years plus. I even drive past my local checkers to make use of spar instead. A once off cake box purchase? I really thought that Spar would go over and above for their loyal clients - clearly not the case.
