Worse case of not the way to treat a customer

On 23 March 2012 we engaged with the said company to provide us with quotes for new curtains. The sales person who assisted us was Mr Hoosian. We paid Home Hyper City R250 on 23 March to come and measure the windows for exact measurements to ensure that there are no mistakes or wrong fits when installing the curtains.

On 3 April we accepted the quote for supplying and installing curtains to the value of R24517.90 and a R10000 deposit was paid, with the understanding and agreement that we will pay balance after installation.

On 8 May after numerous calls and empty promises from Mr Hoosian I personally went in to Home Hyper City trying to resolve the problem. I was referred to Mr Abdulla Cariem (Head Legal Officer) who informed me that no installation or delivery will take place unless the outstanding balance is paid.

12 June 2012 last request to Home Hyper City to assist. A year later and nothing happened, still sitting with damaged and faulty curtians. Worse case of customer service I have ever experienced.. My duty to warn the public.
