Cake with fresh made date but with mould

Its my birthday went to buy a cake. It looked fresh had a new sticker as made today but the cake was rotten. Lucky I saw that before I drove off. Went to report it. Guy named Mike kitchen manager called, when he came he argued with the sales person and did not even hear me out or offer an apology. When questioned about his attitude by a fellow bystander customer, he continued to give attitude.
No one in the shop even bothered to apologies or reassure me of good service or value me as a customer.
