Just a quick not of appreciation for a teller.

Long ago I approached the branch manageress in passing asking about how to claim points and register on my Smartshopper card. The explanation was too vague and I left it at that still swiping as I go along regardless.

This week a teller Lynette Davids swipes my card and ask me if I have ever activated anything. Nope, I don't know how to, I tell her. She says she'll see what she can do and finishes the transaction, closes the till (there were other tellers and it was quiet), she verifies the card, she makes me type in a few things and she converts the points into a good couple of hundred Rand which were lying dormant for yonks. She also explained how the in store specials work.

She certainly made my day.
